Avast - Cant connect to email server after an update

Since a recent Avast update, some clients have been having issues connecting to our mail servers, please follow the instructions below to fix the issue:

  1. Click on your avast icon, this is normally in your system tray (normally at the bottom right hand corner next to your clock) or in your Programs menu:

  2. Click on Real Time Shields

  3. Click on Mail Shield, then Expert Settings

  4. Click on SSL Accounts

  5. Click on the delete button next to any accounts associated with SiteWizard 

  6. Close avast and restart your email program.
