How can I tell which version of Mac OS X I am using?
You need to click on the Apple menu in the top left of your screen. Then click on "About This Mac". This will bring up a window similar to the one below:

If under Mac OS X it says 10.4 then you need this guide for setting up your emails in Mac Mail.
If under Mac OS X it says 10.5 or 10.6 then you need this guide for setting up your emails in Mac Mail.
